I love working with children and adults alike. Besides having the privilege to help people, it is an honor to become part of their lives for a short while and witness the transformation that takes place during therapy. Whether my client is a child or an adult, I believe that everyone deserves a chance to live their best life and create meaningful relationships.
Who am I as a Therapist?
I had several careers before I chose to become a therapist. My life experience has taught me a lot about being human and I understand what you may be going through. At times your world feels isolating, confusing, and unsafe. That is why providing a safe and calm space for you is important to me. Think of it as a commitment to yourself, an hour of time just for you. Feel invited to come in and bring whatever is going on for you.
As a woman in a multitude of family roles as well as a small-business owner, I understand the ups and downs that my clients face while trying to find a sense of balance between all of the roles, functions, and responsibilities that we are faced with on a daily basis. I am not exempt of the challenges that life presents us with, but I also know that managing strong emotions such as anxiety, worry, fear, frustration is possible.
It is Possible to Start Feeling in Control
As your therapist, I will help you to be more aware of your thoughts and emotions so you can learn about them and recognize which ones hold you back. As you learn to regulate and think with more clarity, you can move forward with your life and your relationships. In our work together, you will gain insight to the behaviors that stop you and how to be aware of your choices and feel more in control.
