Hi there,

Here you will get to know a little about what drives me as a person and as a therapist.

I love working with both children and adults, and I consider it a privilege to help people navigate their challenges. It is an honor to be part of their journey, even for a short while, and to witness the transformation that unfolds during therapy. Whether working with a child or an adult, I firmly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live their best life and build meaningful relationships.

Who am I as a Therapist?

Before becoming a therapist, I explored several careers, each of which deepened my understanding of what it means to be human. I know that life can sometimes feel isolating, confusing, and overwhelming. That is why providing a safe, calm, and supportive space for you is at the heart of my practice. Think of therapy as a commitment to yourself—an hour just for you—to explore whatever is on your mind and in your heart.

As a woman balancing multiple family roles and the demands of being a small-business owner, I understand the struggles my clients face in trying to find harmony among life’s many responsibilities. Like anyone, I am not immune to life's challenges, but I also know that it is possible to manage emotions like anxiety, worry, fear, and frustration in ways that foster resilience and growth.

It is Possible to Start Feeling in Control

As your therapist, I will help you become more aware of your thoughts and emotions so you can understand them rather than feel controlled by them. Together, we will explore the patterns that hold you back and work toward a place of clarity and confidence. Through greater self-awareness and emotional regulation, you can move forward in your life and relationships with a renewed sense of purpose and balance.

A Little About My Professional Background

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and later pursued my Master’s in Psychology with a specialization in Couple and Family Therapy from Antioch University in Seattle. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State, as well as a Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) and a Mental Health Professional (MHP).

Additionally, I am a Registered Play Therapist (RPT™), having completed specialized training through the Association for Play Therapy to incorporate play as a therapeutic tool for children. My work is also enriched by my certification in expressive arts from the Northwest Creative and Expressive Arts Institute in Seattle, which allows me to integrate creativity into the therapeutic process.

I am committed to helping my clients find balance, resilience, and healing—one step at a time.
